It's the Little Things: Cokesbury Catalog

Opened my Cokesbury catalog the other day (bread and butter for us Presbyterian ministers) to find something that warmed the cockles of my heart:

No idea where these are sourced from, but the fact that they are in a mainstream catalog for the Presbyterian Church made me pretty happy.

Still, they are MUCH pricier than the regular wafers.

$9.85 for 50 if you buy the gf wafers, or $12.50 for 1,000 if you buy the regular ones. Eep!

Still, progress is progress. Score one for the gf team!

What does your church use for gluten free communion?

  1. They are expensive and I think they taste awful.

I do appreciate the thought, but I prefer commercial rice crackers or home prepared elements.

    I love your blog!

  2. Not surprising, Sharon (they do look SUPER dry). I'm just pleased a mainstream ministry catalog knows enough to offer them at all. Good taste will come later (I hope!).

    Baby, baby, baby steps...
