The past five or so posts have all been pre-posted. Right now, I am writing from the past, with this post scheduled to pre-post as well.
Why, do you ask?
Because the hubby and I are traveling for a couple of weeks! We're celebrating our 30th birthdays (his in July and mine in August) with the trip of our dreams. It will also serve as a "Babymoon" - one last time to see the world before the Beh-Beh arrives late this summer.
We've always wanted to see Europe together, but couldn't because of the cost. ($2,000 plane fare? Eeps! I think not!) However, this year we were blessed by three different sets of folks who helped make our dream a reality.
My husband's dad and step-mom gave us some free airline miles, so the plane tickets were free. My best friend from college ended up having a later deployment back to Afghanistan (she's in the army), and so is welcoming us into her home for a few days in central Germany. Another dear friend moved from Indonesia to Paris, and told us that we must come visit.
So we're traveling through Paris and Germany for the next couple of weeks! It's really a dream come true. On the docket? All the sights we can see, all the culture we can take in, and all the memories we can make. The fact that we'll be seeing much of it with two wonderful friends makes it even better.
I can't wait to tell you all about it when I get back. I'll post information from any gluten free restaurants we visit, snacks I discover, and delicacies we enjoy. Word on the street is that there is an honest-to-goodness all gluten free bakery in Paris. My mouth is watering just thinking about it...
I'm looking forward to drinking hot chocolate (I hear Parisians make the world's best!), eating French macaroons (made with sugar, egg whites, and almond flour!), and people-watching in cafés until I die of utter happiness.
I get back tomorrow (June 12). Many updates to follow! Till soon, friends!
Yay Yay Yay!!

If you try any of those addresses, make sure to post a review (in English - it's fine).
BEWARE: extremely crappy regulation, like in the USA, but with no lawsuit system to get it enforced. most GF is 20<xx<200 ppm.
