Two new blogs to share for this week:
First, if you haven't discovered Gluten Free Girl and the Chef yet, you need to check her out. Shauna writes publishable prose and beautiful words about cooking, gluten free living, and life. This week's post is about going gluten free for the first time. If this is you, or someone you know, her words of encouragement and excitement are just the thing.
Secondly, Alinea at Home. Alinea usually blogs foodie recipes that are too rich and crazy for my taste (Porcini mushrooms? not gonna happen...), but a couple of weeks ago she wrote about a gluten free meltdown that she had in a Whole Foods parking lot. Something most of us who have been doing this for awhile can totally relate to doing, or at least feeling like doing at some point in the near past.
Coming up this week: lots of pictures, two Chicago restaurants (both of which are worth dropping everything and driving to Cook County), a review of Whole Foods Bakehouse's new white sandwich bread, and an update on married life now that the guy I'm married to actually lives in my house.
Happy sigh. Life is good.
