I know the blog has gotten pregnancy-post heavy lately, but bear with me. In 6-10 weeks the beh-beh will be here, and the blog will be all about babies, not pregnancy! Just kidding. I promise to continue on the gluten free posting train.
With the occasional baby post...
Anyway, one more tip I learned from a good friend (thanks, Jen!) regarding pregnancy.
Beginning in the second trimester, eat a banana. Every day. Even if you hate bananas.
I don't love bananas, but I can get one down if I put it on my morning cereal or oatmeal, or hide it in a pancake or a smoothie.
Apparently potassium in bananas helps reduce leg cramps, those lovely middle-of-the-night, shock-you-from-your-dreams Charley horses that are able to wake the dead (or at very least, the husband) in late pregnancy.
I skipped a banana yesterday. I paid the price last night. Yeow.
Pregnant? Go bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
