I know, I know, I don't have the most refined of palates. But if you've been reading here long, you know that about me. My husband (lovingly) says that I have the palate of an eight year old.
I've actually had people behind me in line at the supermarket look at what I'm purchasing (fruit snacks, applesauce, chicken nuggets) and ask how old my kids are (before we had our son).
Even though we are eating much more healthily these days, I still like my kid foods. Now I just eat them gluten free!
If you like fish, or if you've ever craved a good, old fashioned Wisconsin fish fry, you have to try Starfish's gluten free products.
They are super tasty. I've tried them all (they also make haddock, halibut, and sole), and the cod is my favorite. It takes me back to all the Wisconsin fish fries I went to as a kid.
They cook up in about 20 minutes in the oven to a nice crisp, and they're pretty healthy (you know, for battered fish).
My husband doesn't like fish very much, but even he will gobble these up when they're on the dinner menu.
We've found them at Woodman's grocery stores and Whole Foods, and we're hopeful WalMart will pick them up soon.
What's your go-to for a quick meal?
I miss S'Better's products - the don't have them in the South, apparently.
